Judy Ribnick, LCSW, MA; Director Aging Together

Judy Ribnick, LCSW MA, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in community, geriatric and multi-generational services. She is a graduate of dual masters’ programs: Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work, and Jewish Studies from The Jewish Theological Seminary. Judy worked for 35 years at DOROT, Inc., where she helped create and implement an array of innovative social service and intergenerational programs, including the integration of social workers into synagogue settings.

As a long-time member of CBST, Judy has served as ba-a-lat t’fillah for High Holiday and Erev Shabbat services. She created and led a “singing group” which became CBST’s first chorus. In addition, her clarinet can be heard at numerous services throughout the years. Her singing and playing appear on two CBST CDs. As the cantor for the Park Slope Jewish Center in Brooklyn for more than 30 years, she leads monthly t’fillot and High Holiday services.

Judy lives in NYC with her wife, Diane, whom she met through CBST!  She is delighted and honored to be working with the congregation, clergy, Board and staff to continue to create an all-age-friendly community at CBST.
