Jayson Littman has been serving on the Board of Directors since 2020.
Raised in an Orthodox Jewish home, it took Jayson some time to reconcile his LGBT and Jewish identities. After five years of conversion therapy, he came out as gay and founded Hebro — a social group for gay Jews. He also joined CBST seeking a Jewish community and became a founding member of the CBST, the Middle East & Me team.
As a lifelong New Yorker, Jayson is proud to serve in a dual role in Mayor Bill de Blasio's administration, as both Senior Advisor for LGBTQ Community Affairs and Director of Events at the Mayor's Office of Special Events. In his spare time, he enjoys long walks on subway platforms and exploring the East Village, where he currently resides.
