Marriage Equality
CBST has a long history of working toward the right for LGBT marriage. The Koleinu Marriage Equality/LGBT Homeless Youth Action Team was an integral coalition partner in passing the NYS Marriage Equality bill.
On July 24th, 2011, the NYS Marriage Equality bill went into effect and same-sex marriages became legal in New York State. CBST celebrated the first day of legal same-sex marriage in New York and received substantial press coverage.
