Helper, Neighbor, Friend: Caregiving 101, the CBST/SAGE Cares Caregiving Partnership
Randi Anderson and Rabbi Ayelet S. Cohen
Do you want to help others but don’t want to be considered a “caregiver”? Do you worry that caregiving can be isolating, time consuming and costly? CBST and SAGE are working together to give guidance and support to CBST members providing assistance to friends, family members, neighbors, and loved ones over the age of sixty. We will address concerns and offer strategies for time management, financial responsibility, coordinating care teams, caregiver self-care and planning for your own future care needs.
LGBT Legal Update
Art Leonard
Last year was one of significant achievements and disheartening defeats for LGBT civil rights. A panel of legal experts who are CBST members will help us understand the current situation and give us a preview of the struggles we face in the year to come.
