SOFARI SO GOODY!: Jacqueline Jonée with the Jou Jou Jacquettes Philharmonic Orchestra

Join CBST for a performance by the world's premiere concert pianist drag diva, CBST Member Jacqueline Jonée (created by CBST member Jack (John) Nieman), with the Jou Jou Jacquettes Philharmonic Orchestra (CBST Member Simon Dratfield, flute; James Tsao, violin; Josh Sarpen, cello; and Mark Haddad, bass).

Located at Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center at 40 Lincoln Center Plaza.

Presented as part of the Library's celebration of LGBT Pride Month.

Performances at 2:30PM and 6PM.

Ms. Jonée made her Carnegie Hall singing and piano début with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus in the Cole Porter tribute “Swelligant Elegance” with guest stars Harvey Fierstein and Kristen Chenoweth in 1999.  She has performed numerous times at Don’t Tell Mama, and has been a frequent guest with such cabaret performers as the group Uptown Express, Mystery Date, Jamie DeRoy and Friends at the Laurie Beechman Theatre and the Friar’s Club, and Mark Nadler’s Cabaret at Sardi’s.
