Gay Men's Health Crisis
CBST is an active supporter of Gay Men's Health Crisis .
Each spring, the CBST team gathers member support for AIDS Walk New York—partnering with Rita Fisher, the Walk’s single largest fundraiser and a CBST member and parent. The event benefits GMHC's ongoing programming. We carry the names of more than 120 CBST members lost to AIDS.
Jewish World Service’s Jewish Coalition Responding to HIV/AIDS
American Jewish World Service: CBST is a member of the Jewish World Service’s Jewish Coalition Responding to HIV/AIDS. This organization within AJWS was created to educate the American Jewish Community on the dimensions and dangers of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, and to provide a strong, unified Jewish voice in the debates and to work on issues related to HIV/AIDS in Africa.

The CBST AIDS Quilt commemorates the 90 members CBST has lost to AIDS and hangs in our sanctuary during services.
