Shabbat Morning Services: Liberal Format
Mar 13, 2010 - 10:00 am
Bethune Sanctuary
57 Bethune Street
For these liberal Shabbatot we daven in a consciously modern context.
For this morning service, the Reconstructionist prayer book Kol Haneshamah is used, which combines traditional and contemporary liturgy in Hebrew and in English. We read from the Torah according to the triennial cycle and discuss the week’s Torah portion with one of CBST’s Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinical Interns. The service ends at approximately 12:30 pm and is followed by a kiddush lunch. To volunteer as either a service leader or Torah reader, email Neal Hoffman.
