As a member of the adult LGBTQ community and as a Jew, it is unacceptable to me that their lives be endangered by closing youth shelters and sending them out to the streets. It is essential that full funding for Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs in the final State budget be preserved. We cannot balance the budgets on the backs of homeless youth."
