Join Storahtelling Mavens (translators/interpreters) and Connie and Ruthie Scholars in Residence Annie Levy and Chana Rothman at CBST for a lively Maven Shabbaton Weekend.

Mavens will bring Parshat Bo  to life through a fresh fusion of Hebrew chanting, dramatized English translation, music and interactive commentary.

Schedule:

Friday Night: Setting the Stage, A Taste of Storahtelling . An introduction to Storahtelling and Torah translation. Mavens Annie Levy and Chana Rothman will be the guest speakers at our main Friday night service.

Kabbalat Shabbat Services begin @ 7pm

Shabbat Morning: “The Last Midnight,” Maven Torah Reading Ritual  during the Shabbat morning Minyan. Storahtelling Mavens (translators/interpreters) bring the Torah to life through a fresh fusion of Hebrew chanting, dramatized English translation and interactive commentary during the Torah service.
