People come to CBST’s Lehrhaus to learn, but even more significantly, they come to connect with others. At CBST we can ask the questions that challenge us, trouble us, and inspire us, and in doing so create an intimate community of learners within the larger CBST community. We can study Judaism on our own terms, claim its sacred texts as our own, and take our own place among the countless generations of Jewish learners. Here we honor our own life experiences and include them in the ongoing narrative of Jewish life.

CBST offers new Lehrhaus classes each year. View some of our past classes to get an idea of the types of courses we offer.
Every year, we bring a scholar to CBST for a weekend on Shabbat to teach us and learn with us. This year, CBST's Scholar in Residence is Michael Adams, who will be joining us on March 15, 2013. Michael Adams is the Executive Director of SAGE – Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Elders.
