Global Climate Healing Shabbat at CBST, Oct 23-24, 2009
This year, the international day of climate action falls on Shabbat Noach
, when we chant the biblical story of Noah, the flood, and the Covenant of the Rainbow, God’s covenant with humanity to never again to destroy the earth. Throughout this Shabbat we will be reaffirming our commitment to protect and repair the earth, with events and services culminating in our 350 Words of Climate Healing
Havdallah service and dinner on Saturday evening.

6:00pm 350 Words of Climate Healing Please join us for a vegetarian potluck and havdalah service, followed by a screening of the documentary Renewal , which chronicles environmental advocates from eight religious and spiritual communities. As part of the 350.org International Day of Climate Action, we will chant 350 words from the Torah portion Noach , using this opportunity to explore how we can work to fulfill this promise.
