This course is an introduction to the Friday Night Service with the CBST siddur as our textbook. Through this course you will become comfortable with the overall structure of the Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat service and learn about how liturgy developed from its earliest incarnation.. We will explore the history of the service and discover how it came to look as it does today. This class is open to all and is required for Adult B’nai Mitzvah.
