CBST's 40th Anniversary Book
To celebrate CBST's 40th anniversary, we are publishing a history of our synagogue. Through our stories, photographs, and memorabilia, the book will chronicle the history of nearly a half century of LGBT Jewish life in New York. We have engaged Rabbi Ayelet Cohen to write the book. Using CBST's archives, newsletters, photographs, press clippings, interviews with members, and more, she is weaving our memories into a compelling narrative.
If you have archival material, photographs, t-shirts, posters, shabbat oneg programs or anything you think we shouldn't miss when considering what to include in the book, please email Rabbi Cohen at rabbicohen@cbst.org and let her know what you have. She will send you the guidelines for archival submissions.
All materials must be submitted by Jan 15. Please indicate clearly if you want the material returned to you. If not, we will assume you are donating them to the CBST archives.
The book will be available in February 2013 as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary.
