Ari Lev Fornari grew up in Great Neck. He now lives in Boston and attends the Hebrew College Rabbinical School.

Ari Lev recently completed a unit of geriatric chaplaincy training where he reflected on issues of group dynamics, aging and suffering. He is an active member of the Trans Torah collective, which helps people of all genders to fully access and transform Jewish tradition, and helps Jewish communities to be welcoming sanctuaries for people of all genders. In his free time Ari Lev enjoys knitting, riding a bike and cooking for a crowd. He is excited to serve as a Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinical Intern.
