The LGBT Religious Archives Network and Congregation Beit Simchat Torah collaborate to present this special exhibition on the history and life of this unique congregation.
In this exhibition you will see a wide array of artifacts—organizational documents, correspondence, newspaper and magazine articles, publications, brochures and photos that portray the early years (1973-1982) of this ground-breaking synagogue. Our intent is to allow you to make historical discovery through exploring the artifacts with only minimal commentary to weave them together.
